Jaume Barberena i Francesca
Jaume is an entrepreneur with a unique vision. Having experienced the limitations of traditional business hotels during his travels, he decided to change the game. He founded bizFlats to offer visitors to Barcelona a genuine “home away from home” experience, where you can truly immerse yourself in the city.
With extensive business travel under his belt, Jaume is well-versed in understanding every traveler’s needs. Feel free to ask him any questions; his expertise knows no bounds. He’s not just a host but an avid traveler himself, so don’t forget to seek his recommendations for your next adventure.
Jaume is passionate about good food and sports matches, and he’s multilingual, speaking Catalan, English, Spanish, and even a bit of Russian.
Mercedes Delgado
Mercedes is the creative force behind bizFlats, responsible for the aesthetic and visual aspects of our business. Her keen eye for image, design, photography, decoration, and all things beautiful plays a significant role in our offerings. If something looks appealing, chances are, it’s Mercedes’ handiwork.
Beyond her creative talents, Mercedes excels as a project manager and image consultant. She’s your go-to person for organizing corporate events and resolving any issues that may arise during your stay. With a degree in Protocol and Institutional Relations from ESPRI, she brings a unique skill set to the team.
Mercedes has a passion for music and fashion. She’s multilingual, speaking Spanish, English, French, and even a bit of Italian.
To my delight, a fabulous place to stay with a great and welcoming host. The apartment was much more spacious than we had come to think based on the photos. The kitchen was well equip and easy to use. The house manual made everything very simple to understand and our host was very responsive to any inquiry we had. The location was also quite wonderful. We greatly enjoyed the terrace and the home was nicely located close to the heart of Barcelona. Very pleased with this apartment and the hosts.
